Hello out there! So by now you can tell that updating my website is not one of my strengths. I´d much rather be writing songs, playing concerts, etc. Which I have been doing lately. And tomorrow I get to head over to the studios at ERF (Evangelische Rundfunk) for a little TV interview followed by a radio interview with ERF Pop. I´m really looking forward to it. Eckhard Jung, my awesome drummer/percussionist, and I will be there and I will be sure to upload dates so be sure to check back here again soon for those!!

Hello world, so today I went to the Musikmesse here in Frankfurt and met with the nice folks from Virusmusik for a little radio interview. I had a good time and really appreciate their open approach when musicians like myself write and ask if they´ll play my songs. I even brushed my teeth extra long... yeah, I think it went well. ;) Anyways, you probably won´t hear it today unless you plan on tuning in between 2 a.m.-9 a.m. tomorrow morning SO I will upload it here sometime next week. Unfortunately you will not be able to see exactly how clean my teeth were but the interview went pretty well so I´d say it´s worth a listen.  Besides that I´m headed off to Siegen tomorrow to practice with the band!! Yeah, baby! It´s been too long since I´ve seen those crazy dudes and I´m looking forward to our rehearsal and house concert on Sunday. By the way, if you´re interested in supporting a great cause come to the house concert this Sunday, April 19th at 6.m. in Kronberg!!! Remember me? It sure has been a while since I have posted any news (or anything, for that matter) up here. Well, surprise surprise ladies and gentlemen I´m back and I have some news to share. I guess that is why I´m writing something here. First off, what are you doing next Saturday? I have a really good suggestion if you´re looking for something. Come to the Song Slam on Saturday Feb. 21, 2015!! "What´s a Song Slam?"  I hear you asking. Kinda like a poetry slam, a song slam is basically a competition in which singer/songwriters have about 5 minutes to play one song and win the audience over. If that works the audience lets you know by clapping like crazy and you move to the next round. Repeat the whole "play one song thing" and try to get to the finals. In the finals there are usually 3 artists who fight to the death to win the whole thing for the evening.  I´m not even sure what the winner wins... but last time I made it to the finals and came in 2nd place. This time I´m in it to win it, folks. ;) Well, at least I´m gonna try. So I need YOUR help- your claps, that is!! Doors open at the Orange Peel (Kaiserstrasse 39 60329 Frankfurt) 7:30 p.m and the whole event kicks off at 8p.m.. Tickets are 9 Euro /6 reduced and it´s going to be a great evening. Hope to see (and hear!) you there!! 

Well folks... it´s been way too long since I´ve written in here. Mainly because these days I have my hands more than full taking care of my sweet two year old little girl and working on my music (oh yeah and doing life in between). But I am happy, no more than happy- SUPER EXCITED to report that my 2nd CD "Never Forget" is now done and will be coming your way soon. Can you believe it? I finished it- and I have all 1000 copies sitting behind my kitchen door (cuz where else will they go?) to prove it! Don´t believe me? Just come on over for coffee and I´ll sell you one... ;) Better yet- come to a concert and I´ll sell you one. That´s right, I´m also busy working on lining up concerts at the moment and I hope to see you there. When is the next one, you may be asking? Soon- October 12th at 8p.m. at the Interkulturelle Bühne here in Bornheim, Frankfurt. This is going to be an Open Stage event and is part of the Cafe Crawl, a group I discovered on Facebook over the summer. Once a month the Cafe Crawl Open Stage invites artists of all different styles to come and share their art in a relaxed, fun enviornment at the Interkulturelle Bühne. Two artists perform (about one hour each) and afterwards the stage is open for anyone else to share their stuff! This should be a really fun evening and I hope to see lots of you there. And don´t forget- I´ll be selling the new CD for a special pre-release price! I´ll be performing solo this evening and will also share lots of stories behind the songs (those of you who know me know that I love to tell stories...).

Ich bin vor Kurzem auf einen Spruch gestoßen, der so ziemlich den Zustand meiner Musik zur Zeit zusammenfasst: TTT (things take time).

Und wie schnell die Zeit noch dazu vergeht... Vor Allem jetzt, wo ich ein Kleinkind habe, scheint es so als ob die Stunden schneller verschwinden als zuvor. Aber ich freue mich euch mitteilen zu dürfen, dass es mit meiner neuen CD „Never Forget“ vorrangeht und, dass der Veröffentlichungstermin auch schön näher rückt! Vertraut mir: das Warten lohnt sich. In der Zwischenzeit könnt ihr schon einmal ein paar Tracks davon unten im Player hören.

In der Galerie könnt Ihr jetzt auch ein paar Fotos vom Aartalsee Festival vom vergangenen Sommer sehen. Es war das erste Konzert für meine Tochter Amelie, also war es natürlich etwas ganz Besonderes Sie mit dabei zu haben. Obwohl das Wetter nicht gerade sommerlich war, war der Sound und die Crew spitze und die Zuschauer waren unfassbar! Ich war so beeindruckt, dass Ihr alle trotz Regen mit euren Schirmen da saßt und die Musik genossen habt. Danke, dass Ihr mir den Tag so verschönert habt!
